Pride

Some more work! For Game Proposal again and my 'Dream Walkers' concept. This time some Pride concepts.


Demon enemy designs. Big demon might be a little too thin. (Will fix if I get time) 


And level concept. For a gladiator arena style level. 

Futures

I haven't posted any Futures work up here yet, probably because I haven't has a whole lot to show until today. I managed to get quite a lot done today actually! I'm getting quick at modelling.

Today's work was creating a room which is the user interface. The player will interact with this room to reach all of the areas of the game. So far I have the creative and learning areas made.


This is the basic room, including wallpaper carpet and skirting board apparently.


Playing around with colours and patterns and stuff.


Just to show what kind of thing you could have (The room is fully customisable)



Added the chest for the creative area and the book shelf and star chart for learning.

Windmill

Today I have been working on my scene again. I'm working on a windmill which I hope to animate toobut at the moment its just built and textured.


This is my first screenshot, sorry I haven't set the lighting very well but as you can see I have textured the roof and top hald of the structure.

This time I decided to change the textures around and have the brickwork on the bottom and the white on the top half which I think works much better.


Added an alpha map to my windmill blades, looks much better and the shadow looks pretty cool too!



Finished windmill. Just need some plants and stuff scattered round now! Took about 2-3 hours to build and texture.

Maya experimenting with grass

Today I'm experimenting with getting some props into my scene. Mostly plants and stuff for now, I'm planning on a boat and maybe a lighthouse soon too.

These are the first screen shots og grass, it's a bit small on this screen, but its basically a plain with an alpha map on it of grass. It looks a bit too real for the style of the scene for now.

This is the scen with 'blades' of cartoony grass in it instead. Looks much more cartoony, just making that poly count higher unfortunately!

What I've been up too

I haven't been doing as much as I should posting wise with this thing, and I apologise but I am a very busy lady!

Uni is going okay. I have a lot to do but with every small chink of completed work I feel a little better about it.
I have been mainly trying to blast out my GDD lately (Game Design Document) as the deadline is the 5th May.

These are demon minion designs for Envy. 6 more sets to do for these! 


And this is my design for Gluttony. I'm really pleased with it, took me about 3-4 hours including drawing and colouring. I have 4 more of these to do!

Modelling a Tree


Today I made a tree. I am very happy with my tree! Although I shanty be disclosing the poly count! Just needd to get some nice shading and stuff on it but I will probably get this done when I put it in the scene.
